yn5's first release were a few tracks on warmthrillofconfusions's sampler 2002.v1. this was followed by a split full length with SCG titled yellow glow(2002). lately, yn5 has been working on tracks with the intention of having MCs drop lyrics to them. |

TORMENT-some sweet deep grooves keep your head boppin along with a healthy amount of looped noise-reminds me a bit of scorn with it beat and electronic blips and bird sounds-this piece is fairly straight forward which lends to it's strength
WHO-electro hip-hop vibes permeate the somewhat discordant chaos created in th distance-the eventual breakdown of the track into absraction is excellent especially when it brings that beat back right after-my only criticism is the discordant sample repeating through the tail end here treads on the great melody running and it seems to already said it peace earlier in the track
DEKUFSPOOLDICA-the low end rumble on this track makes you want to sit on a sub while you listen-the track is a bit looser than the previous two and even a bit playful while it delves a touch into world beat like rhythms-the high pitched voice like melody and breathing like beat adds a nice psychedelic/trance touch
