Okay, so I've finally made a list of all the possible styles I know about. This list is as close to complete as possible, but I'm sure I missed a few, and there are probably some that might be considered "duplicates."

| How about doing some breakdown in the Electronic Genre. After all about 95% of the artist signed up here are differant forms of electronic. Generalizations would do. What do ya think? |

why have less when you can have more? generalization in musical styles tends to annoy me. diversification is the key to life. just ask mother evolution.

oh BTW the styles are not for (most) artists and (most) albums. styles cover individual songs and some rare artists/albums where the style (not the genre) defines the collection.
genres are more for general collections. "electronica" and "rock and metal" for instance.
anyway, hope my confusion isn't confusion you, but i just wanted to clear up and confusion i may have introduced that might have led to more confusion. |
