DESCRIPTION
Oftentimes new songs and styles are created whenever we get a new software package to work with. Daddy's Dead was written directly after Blakrane and it was the first song that we wrote after discovering the ever useful Cool Edit sound editing software. This song is obviously a form of anger directed at totalitarian fathers, and how we are almost forced by nature and society to ironically follow in their footsteps. Vosh and Keldot both share this animal. Incorporating a driving rhythm, real guitars (including a distorted, detuned metal stringed acoustic) and powerful lyrics, this song is one of our finest and most realistic lyrical songs. In the current version there is a section of lyrics that were not recorded toward the end of the song. |
