So I'm looking through gay pride week in the Alibi when my jaw hits the floor and smacks me in the nose. Lo and Behold, JOE'S PLACE has live bands listed! "FUCK ME MARTHA" (as my bby sis would say) "CARRAROWS/JOE'S PLACE IS A FUCKING VENUE FOR BANDS."
This may not be a big issue for most of you out there but,.. that is MY fucking watering hole. I've been drinking there since I first got my fucking ID at 21. NOW I CAN PERFORM THERE AS WELL!!!
(silence falls around XOWeaver as he surveys the city in suspicion. This can't be real. There must be a trick to it. Are bar owners starting to wake up to a new reality? hmmmm)
Joe's was the last place on earth to look for a band. I gotta go... I think I'm just going to have to make a taxi trip outta this one. Smashed and rowdy. +++***HELL FUCKING YES!***+++

Joe's has been doing live music for a few years on and off. Never on a regular basis and rarely advertised however.
So are they doing shows on a weekly basis now? |

| Yeah, I went to one show a few months back. True they don't advertise & have live shows that often. Joes is a great place, classic comfy watering hole with good food and regulars. You should definitely try and get in there & play. |

Look at it this way... Who needs a mosh pit or riot when you got COB.
The bass alone makes porperty owners insurance premiums go up.
But seriously, it's probably just 'cause yer not sponsered by Camel™ cigarettes.
