BiLL STreeT entered the music scene in the cold winter of 1998. Eager to hit the club scene the band began rigorous rehearsals a small cold basement. The groups vast musical backgrounds produced flamboyant textures along with traditional and contemporary blues into a style all their own. BiLL STreeT incorporates their funky blues style with the Dancehall motif of nonstop grooving to the clubs bringing along with it a new audience to blues music. The freak in front on lead vocals is Jake Miller. To stage left is Native American guitar virtuoso, Jir on the move presenting astonishing leads and rhythms that bring home his style of blues. The band never falls short on rhythms with native Texan, Tony Groove master and his bottomless bass lines. Finally keeping everything right in the pocket is percussionist Dave Vasquez. From great Chicago and delta blues with a splash of Texas swing and ten and a half cups of BiLL Street's phat fresh swing. |
