DETAILS
Celebrate Halloween the Balkan way with the exciting and exotic music of ABQ's premier Balkan-Roma (Gypsy) dance band, Goddess of Arno. New Mexico Music Industry Award winners (2002) for their recording of "Beranche" and nominated for best production category, Goddess of Arno's fiery vocals, hot instrumentals and driving rhythms will get you moving on the dance floor. Veteran folk dance teacher Patsy Gregory will teach traditional line dances of Bulgaria, Albania, Greece and the former Yugoslavia. Come early at 7:30PM for a crash course lesson in these fun and easy line dances - or dance your own dance. Decorations, Prizes for the best costumes (win their award-winning CD!), and special guest performers add to the fun. All levels of dancers are welcome. It's happening on Saturday Night, November 1st. The party begins at 8PM at R.B. Winning Coffee Company (505-266-0000) - serving great coffee, drinks and snacks. |
